Jayden is the baby behind the bump in my latest beach maternity session. He came 3 weeks early, but he is just the most perfect little bean. This hospital room was the smallest room I have shot in with the smallest window I have shot with AND there was a man outside the window on scaffolding making a ton of noise, but everything worked out just fine. This session was a family affair and included the grandparents and great aunt. They only spoke Chinese, so there was little language barrier, but mom was convinced I understood some Chinese because I was able to pick up on some body language and understand what they were saying. They are also the most warm and inviting family members. Jayden had to go to the nursery for some standard testing, so the grandmother insisted I sit down and handed me a bag of grapes then mom, Yun, handed me a bottle of water <3 I even got to witness big brother Brian meeting his brand new baby brother for the first time. Talk about sweetness. Brian isn't even 2 yet but I got plenty of eye contact from him. I guess I'm getting less self conscious about being a total fool behind the camera to at least get eyes on me.
