NEW JERSEY STUDIO NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION
While I absolutely love and adore in home newborn photo sessions in homes around New Jersey, sometimes it’s nice to have the alternative of a completely neutral studio space to capture your newborn and family. This family chose to have their newborn session in my studio in Oceanport because like many families in Monmouth County, they are waiting on construction companies to become available for a home renovation. The studio has a light and bright aesthetic with all white walls and simple furniture so the focus is all on you and your baby. I have a private back room so you can comfortably change your outfit, feed or change your baby and grab a cold water or seltzer.
In the studio I also have a growing selection of dresses for my mama clients perfectly suited for pregnant and postpartum bodies. And a range of sample artwork options so you can enjoy your precious images in your home everyday.
We follow baby’s lead and take time to address baby’s needs. The flow is similar to an in home newborn session where your family is gently guided into poses and baby is photographed in simple, natural positions.

This family chose to preserve their images in a linen heirloom album with baby girl’s name and birthday engraved on the cover. They selected their favorite images and I designed the layout to tell their story as a brand new family of 3. How sweet will it be for them to be able to sit down with their little girl and look through these images of them loving on her, snuggling her and kissing her? They’ll tell her all about those first few days and weeks of getting to know her. I know she’ll be going to that bookshelf to pull out her favorite book time and time and again to hear her story and be reminded of how loved she is. What a gift to give a child.
