You may recognize these parents and baby from my previous blog post, Baby J’s Golden Hour session. I was invited back to their home a few weeks later to document the whole family. I’m over here figuring out life with two kids and these two all stars are rocking life with four kids (and since this session they’ve added a dog and some chickens)! Not to mention mom is the co-founder of a popular motherhood website and dad works for a popular social media platform, so they’re busy people to begin with. And they’re just a sweet, down-to-Earth family whom I adored working with.
I absolutely loved this session because it was so indicative of life with kids. The kids were were having fun dancing to the Pokemon theme song and then we listend to some of the sountrack from The Sound of Music. Baby J wanted to nurse for most of the session, which is totally normal and common, but thankfully he decided we could snap some pictures between snacking. And can we take a moment and talk about their outfits?? A little Von Trapp and a little Ingalls, they all looked stunning.
