I never imagined starting my own photography business. I got a DSLR (one of those fancy black digital cameras professional photographers carry around) in 2008 and fell in love with photography, although I did not consider the possibility of one day having my own business. I went to school to learn about health and took some photo classes along the way. I lugged my brick of a camera around with me wherever I went. After learning more about the mechanics of the camera and how to play with the light to create sharper images and avoid over/under exposing, my photography improved. My family has always been my biggest fan and without their constant praise, I probably would not have taken this step. Over the past year or so, I have received a lot of positive feedback from my work that I decided my hobby may actually be worth something more than just a hobby. I love the quote, "Do what you love and love what you do," and that is exactly what I intend on doing.
