This mama reached out to me early on in her pregnancy. She wanted to find her newborn photographer early on while she was feeling well and had the time. Booking your newborn photographer early ensures the photographer’s availability, gives both of you time to get to know each other, time to plan for the session, what artwork you’d like to receive and it takes one more thing off your mind while you prepare to bring your baby into the world.
This family chose their home to have their newborn photos taken. Their home has a lot of character in their main living area so it was a great choice for them. Their master bedroom was nice and neutral so their gallery has a good variety of personal touches and timelessness.
Baby D was an absolute dream which is no surprise as I heard her entrance into this world was really gentle and peaceful. I could be wrong, but I think that plays a role in a baby’s personality. She was awake for a lot of the session and gave us such good eye contact to document those beautiful newborn blues. I loved that she fell asleep on daddy’s chest and transferred beautifully to her belly onto the bed. We moved slow and got some sweet sleepy images which allowed me to highlight her long lashes.
The following are the images the family chose for the Keepsake box and I think are just so sweet. Baby D will grow up looking at these pictures and knowing how loved she was right from the start.
