Danielle and James have a one of a kind love story. They found each other through match.com, like many couples do, however their story has a little twist. Prior to having their first phone call, James was scheduled for surgery and had to pick up some medications from the pharmacy. At the pharmacy, he had dealt with a beautiful brunette, with bright blue eyes and an unforgettable voice. Now, after a few days talking via messages on match, they exchanged numbers. The week after James’s trip to the pharmacy, they had a 2 hour phone conversation in which it was clear they had a connection. Danielle says she had just felt something while talking to him. At some point during the conversation, James had realized he knew the voice that was on the other end of the phone, which is when they discovered they had indeed met once before! That beautiful brunette who waited on him at the pharmacy was none other than Danielle. Of course Danielle remembered this handsome man as well after his realization. While James recovered from surgery, Danielle called up the hospital and had them send James a get well balloon and a card signed “your secret admirer.” This won James’s heart. After he returned home, they had their first date. James had to wear loose clothing due to his operation, so he warned Danielle to not mind his appearance. He showed up in sweat pants and a sweatshirt. Danielle was grateful for the heads up! Honestly though, I think it was really sweet that James wanted to meet up before he was ready to wear less casual clothes and for Danielle to be understanding of his casual appearance. After all, we all want someone we can spend time with in our most comfortable of clothes.
These two love birds got on engaged on October 27, 2018. They have set their wedding date for November 9, 2019. Congratulations Danielle and James! You have a beautiful story. It was an honor photographing your engagement pictures at Allaire State Park.
